Cool perspective, but remember that since the bikes weren't all in the same front/rear cog combo, comparing chain growth, etc. is pointless.

I think that Aaron should announce his new gig in his new truck to his old friends at Vital in a part two of this video. It could be the lowest budget and probably most watched kick off video ever! And I have a copy of Transcontinental that I think I'll watch tonight.

I had alrdy used a pike on my previous 2015 Enduro. For this 2016 bike, had compared the lyrik was not far off in terms of the weight scale from pike (144g) and the 0.5degree slacker due to 10mm difference in travel does not effect me much on the climbs. Felt similar as on 160 pike. The ride benefits I looked at was the better stiffness of the Lyrik especially the axle area for the descends.

What made you pick the Lyric over the Pike? Just interested in knowing the rationale behind the fork choice.

For this bike I did not use slaughter as I had it set up separately, not full stock bike. However, on my previous Enduro 2015, I had the slaughter tyres went through these rocks. It was during a dry season trail conditions, so slaughter was OK. But currently now these rocks section are very slippery during this wet monsoon season, so I preferred to have them butcher for the back. And it's Grid Butcher.

stiingya, you're misunderstanding the technology. Whether it's the Climb Switch, Propedal, Floodgate, etc. you don't have adjustability over the closed position. When you flip the lever you go into a position that has been preset by the manufacturer. With ELEVENSIX BOTH positions are completely adjustable and therefore can be setup any way the rider wants. Additionally, both of our settings are completely independent from each other. With a standard production shock (Fox, CC, RS) you loose small bump sensitivity if you want a pronounced damping effect when you flip the lever. Additionally, if you want a shock that has great...

Fantastic, though I can't make any comparison to other coil options as I've previously only used an air shock. I've never been one for climbing switches so instead mine alternates between two different DH settings. Much has been made of the dual valve for climbing/descending prowess but where I appreciated it most was in setup. It can be run with identical settings on each and then changes can be made to one valve at a time making it easy to toggle back and forth instantly to feel the difference.
