just noticed your comment, thanks! your thoughts are mine exactly, last couple races i did on a 26" dh bike felt like a serious disadvantage, this bike is my baller on a budget build. good luck with your resurrection!

then maybe you try both and see what works better for you. cool project and I like the outcome very much. shows that there is room for good stuff even if it did not look like that at the beginning. cool idea and cool you finished it

my concern with running the offset bushing is that it is essentially running a shorter i2i shock, on full bottom out the wheel is already quite close to hitting the seat tube. any shorter on the shock/offset bushings and Im pretty sure I would run into issues with the rear tire hitting the frame.

yeah ive thought about just getting some offset bushings. I work at a shop so cost on the angle set isnt too bad, the bike could use a fresh headset either way. got out on the bike yesterday for the first time and it was awesome!

4/6/2011 1:44pm ive had these on my bottlerocket for over two years. the do exactly what theyre supposed to! makes it a sick mini dh bike when i have the coil on it.
