Nice ! I am planning to do the same mount (exept the wheels maybe). I have two questions (one will seems weird)
- Can you put the shox in the most agressive position of the ride 9 without having a clash ? (low B
- Can you manage to fit a bottle on the frame with the monarch ? (I like to race without bag)
Thank you for the picture, it makes me even more motivated !!

Hey thanks!

- I have not tested with the monarch in the slackest position yet but in the neutral position I had to do a little light machining to the link to ensure it didnt rub on full stroke.
- Bottle wont fit on the top but there is also a mounting point on the bottom. You might just have to wipe some dirt off before taking a drink.

Hi,
Any picture of the machining to have an idea of the job to plan ? (and to relax myself a little as I wa not planning to machine my brand new bike :-( )
Thanks as well for the bottle, I know that I will have to wear my bag again then (no Way I ride the Jared Graves style !!)
How do you like the bike ? You feel that 150 mm travel is enough ?
Let me know if you test the slackest position !

It is really hard to see, you have to get under the bike to get an angle to see where I lightly sanded some of the bridge on the link. I will most likely just give it a light spray with black and you would never know. It was really nothing major, more just to give me peace of mind in case I bottomed the bike out.
I just tested in the slackest position and this actually gives more gap than the neutral position. The Ride-9 actually makes a massive difference between settings. I think if you want to run it in the "Heavier" and "Aggressive" geometry then it will be fine.
I'm loving the bike and the travel is perfect even coming from a DH bike.

Thanks!
The weight was with pedals, 780mm bars and running two Mavic front tires which are not exactly light.
I'm sure I will play around with a few things (XO cranks) in the future.
