I updated my coment Yes the last pareagraph was a little ebike hater I am not. Actually somtimes I ride with a friend that has one , and he is not in the best shape, if it wasn’t for the Ebike he has , I will be climbing alone.

The top of the mountain is no longer reserved for hard pedaling riders or weekend warriors out of breath. The gates are now open for everyone. Prepare to meet your golf cart buddies with e bikes at every local hilltop. Not a critic just an observation.

That “we have too” Sounded a lot like when spesh “ had to “ make 27.5 bikes , even thoungh they were very convinced 29 ers are better remember the frase “ the bigger the better”? They were right with 29 ers, I know is about taste but 29 ers are going far. Now even Aaron Gwin has one. I am 5,11 And would definetly change my V10 if I find that V10 29 er is more fun. ( don’t care that much for those extra milisecons ) so just faster will not do it for me, I care for...

Because the concentric angle of the diagonal in the centerlocks reduce the speed of the bike every time a sharp rock flys over the bottom section of the pedal stroke.

In the analisis Gwin crosses the initial rock first, (video 0:33) so brunni's was even faster in the first part. Incredible how a very minor change in line can make a diference. Thank's Vital,
