Thanks! I'm looking for a bit more mid-stroke support and more endless travel feeling I had in my previous bike. Eating up the smallest obstacles on the trails is not the first thing I need. Did you need to increase the pressure? I'm close to 200lbs so I'm already quite high on the pressure scale in my X2.

It completely changes the nature of the bike. I used to blow through travel on both air and coil shocks before I got the link. After the link, the progression significantly helped prevent harsh bottom-outs, and small bump sensitivity improved a bit. The aspect I noticed and most appreciated was how much poppier the bike became after I installed the new link—the Sight became a very fun and responsive ride, whereas I found the stock link a little bland and more inclined to soak up hits without providing any platform to push back against. Thanks! That's interesting, most of the information I found about cascade link in this model was like the mid-stroke increases and the bike is more snappy. What's your X2 setup? I have X2 2021 and struggle to set it up well for me. I'm close to 200lbs fully kitted and the shock has a tendency to eat up the travel very easily, with less mid-stroke support than I like. If I pump the pressure up, the middle of the stroke is better but it starts to feel harsh.

Umm... it wasn't for me. I think a lighter rider (170lbs or below) could benefit from the progressivity. I found I spent most of my time wallowing around mid-travel, even with the firmest spring I could find. It came back off pretty quick.
