Why are you blaming Rachel. The decision is not hers to make. It is UCI commercaires decision. While I do not agree with the current rule, and feel it should be changed, I do feel the right decision was made based on the wording of the current rule. Blaming Rachel at this point is simply not fair.

Gee had many OTB type crashes over the years on every bike he has ridden. He rode most of last year with concussion from multiple crashed on commencal. He is faster on the GT his splits have proved it, just had a bit of bad luck in Ft Bill and RSA otherwise those podiums could have just as easy been wins.

so funny the speculation that its equipment related. If you are not pushing it like these guys in practice (& Race and Quali) you are not going to be on the podium. Lots of the top riders had big crashes today. Combination of track speed and conditions and just manning up. These guys are in the gym 75 % of the time just to prevent injuries such as this. 99 % of us normal riders wouldn't be able to even walk for week or we would be broken after a crash like this.

Don't just blame the specialized boys. There has been vid of the Yeti, Santa Cruz, Fox and many other corpo riders there. Don't hate the players hate the game. At least some of the companies named above are putting their money behind their mouth and web vids and trying to get trails in the area legalized and syringe free.

before you get excited... you should find out what trails they are running the enduro in in Bend and Sisters. Bends enduros/super D's have traditionally been run on super mellow and pedally (but fun) trails, where a lycra clad high posting 29'r (Decker/Craig) will smoke any 6" bike. When you have to run sub 25lb 4" bikes it will always be one sided. There are some enduro worthy trails out there.....parts of South Fork, Flagline, Farewell, parts of upper and lower whoops but the wanoga area they usually stage out of is pretty flat. So while its good to see...

brake induced "drifts" that served no purpose other than make rider slower does not do it for me. maybe this is for another contest "Fake Scandi Drifts Bounty" Pity though as the cliched overuse of the skids detracted from the rest of the vid.
