8/30/2011 10:13pm @bikeandski - I was already a fan of his after seeing him slay the local hill last year @ ProGRT#1. The Megadeth wift-beater t-shirt may have pushed me closer to fanboy-status! Gwin is definitely loose...probably not a good sign for the rest of the field. We'll see come Sunday!

He missed Champery last year, IIRC. As much as I'm dying to see a Gwin/Hill showdown at Worlds, I think he should save it for next season. Of course, not knowing Sam's threshold for pain (pretty good, I'd imagine), it's hard to say if he's got it in him for Worlds. It would be a tragedy to have him completely destroy his shoulder just for the sake of defending his title. If he does line up, I wish him nothing but the best of luck!!

I would say MSA, but Gee's flat kind of put a damper on an otherwise killer race day. That being said, VDS hands-down. Probably the most exciting racing I've seen since...well...VDS Worlds in '08.

7/12/2011 9:21pm Definitely not questioning those that actually race, but on a short course such as Windham, even the smallest hesitation on even a 1/2 pedal stroke will cost you 5-10 spots in the results. With that minimal margin for error, you're going balls-out or you're just another opening act for the big players later in the race. I think the pace...

7/11/2011 1:08pm Whether or not there is a God, I hope Pauhlan wasn't broken off too bad. That was one of the nastiest crashes I have seen to date. Seeing how his arm was basically dangling just before he came to a stop was gut-wrenching. Great vid and awesome racing in the US of A!!!
