My mate had an STS Lobo...well he had several to be exact ;-) I had an LTS but it was the later one with the trunion shock and the bushings made from soft cheese. Lasted about 3 muddy rides before it would creak and develop play. They definitely took a step backwards from the first LTS with the regular DU Bush mounted shock. Love the Daves Chain Device...had one of those too. Sounded like a motorbike when you pedalled. Surely the yellow Judy is an SL?

I stand corrected :-) I loved watching Missy ride. She was wild, although I only ever saw her on VHS ha ha As a 14 year old kid, completely hooked on biking, all the riders were super stars. Nowadays we have so much access to the riders through social media and online content, that we almost feel like we know them. Kind of makes them seem too normal. I'm absolutely blown away by the race coverage on here, but it felt so much more exciting waiting for the next issue of Mountain Bike Action just to catch a glimpse of...

I certainly didn’t hear any negativity towards the US riders. Rob was absolutely stoked for Gwin and he, along with the rest of mountain bike fans and fellow competitors, are simply left scratching our heads after he wins. Any lack of excitement from the commentators is probably related Gwin’s tidy riding style on the bike and professional persona off the...

I love hearing from the stars of the sport from when I first started biking. They are all heroes to me. Not sure the comment about Missy having 'no talent' is fair. You don't become world champion and have a 10 year career on the back of nothing.

Agree, for me, 4 seasons in the French Alps resulted in flatter levers. Most people ride more off the back of the bike than they imagine when they are setting their lever angle in the garage. I also agree that there isn't an ideal setup, everyone is different, but a few degrees up works wonders for most people.

A lot of hard graft going on there. Well done. Track looks rocky, if a little tight. I wonder if they had any input from a WC level rider during construction. In the vid you can see one of the guys making arm movements like 'drop this, land here, gap this'. Then Minnaar comes down and gaps the whole lot on his first run... If I hadn't watched with my own eyes, the lines and gaps the top guys make out of nothing would be unbelievable. Sometimes it's better to leave a track more natural, rather than to over think...

Ha ha, sick video and it's cool how he is so pumped...but he lost all credibility with the //pinkbike wifebeater. Unless he's trying to be ironic.

When Sam Hill can place 6th at the worlds on an enduro bike, nobody needs a downhill bike for recreational riding. Having said that, Hafjell is 4 hours from me and that track is brutal. Yes an Enduro bike will get down it quick enough, but nothing beats the feeling of ploughing through a bunch of huge, square edge rocks...
