Nice bike, my guess is they make more on this than the supreme which is what you'd want if 1-2 seconds matter. Alot less servicing on this one too.

I don't know of any such programs, but I guess the point is that at least you CAN hand it over to a scrap yard after which it can be melted down and re purposed - aluminum is a highly recyclable material. A carbon frame however, is just epoxy and resin waste "forever".

It's a bit deeper than that, and it has nothing to do with build quality nor durability. Max does not want to work with carbon for two reasons: he feels that carbon is not a very eco-friendly material (because the manufacturing process uses a lot of resins and chemical compounds and because the material cannot be recycled), and he also does not feel that the carbon plant working conditions are satisfactory. And of course, producing carbon elsewhere but in China means not being able to compete on cost anymore. Those are the reasons he has always evoked when asked about...

For a minute I was like, "Hey racer boys, check out the Fest Series for some instructional guidance and inspiration." Then I watched Gee Atherton's POV video and shut right up. The run-ins to these jumps are just as crazy as the jumps themselves.
