I believe every one of their helmets is DOT approved. But the thing is DOT really isn't the best thing out there for DH biking - DOT standards are tested at speeds like 60 mph and hitting concrete. Concussions are more likely to happen in a DOT helmet than one that is not DOT certified. As it is, there is no really good standard. What would you suggest?

Had he thrown up some big trick - because that 's what wins the Rampage these days - he would have been up in possibly the top three with that run - much rawer than many of the other riders line.

Yup up in NH - too bad the mountain doesn't do DH mtb. Makes no sense at a place where they don't bother with mountain biking, except on the kiddie slope. This 10X was out of a field of 12 riders who signed up - should have just let them all go down.

9/4/2014 2:17pm You're probably right, but there are at least a half-dozen other riders more than capable. Bruni, Blenkinsop, Mac Donald, Simmonds and Mulally to name several. For the record, I'm predicting Gee will NOT hit the tree this year.
