So far it feels pretty good. It does feel like there's a little stiction in the initial bit of travel, but I may be able to tune that out with the OTT setting. Can't really give a comparison as I've only done one demo ride on a diamond and didn't have much time to set it up. The onyx definitely feels stiffer than the pike on my other bike.
