@VitalRider Thanks for your clarification, and I appreciate where you are coming from. But all other media are going to pick up the same story. What makes these photo/clips/whatever so great is that they get into the lifestyle, the feel, the essence of being in the circuit for half a year, on the side of mountain for 10 hours at time, the close friendships that form in that environment, be it wrench, rider, photog or fan. Gwin didn't have to throws down risks, yet he pins it to win on the most insane track and breaks the season wins record, and in the post interview gets called boring?!?!?! WTF. Clearly that woman knows partying, and not a d@mn thing about DH racing... I've never heard such a disrespectful & offensive interview remark to a winner straight off the track. Yur fired.

Talk about misplaced patriotism... geez lighten up. Someone bust out the Team America theme song. Everyone complains when on the road... Cuz they are not at their comfy home... It's part of traveling... That is what is great about these photo features, insight into more of the sport than just going downhill as fast as you can. It's looks like a traveling circus, complete with tents, circus animals and clowns. I'll go to this circus if it comes to my town. Nice work Sven & Gary.

Great coverageand photography as usual. You guys make it about so much more than just the racing. It keeps me checking Vital every hour (sorry work) during the WCs!
