A mixture of steep rock faces, tight treed sections, and huge road-gapping airs combined with a fanatical mob on “Heckler’s Rock” make this one of the premiere downhill race events in the world. This year the Open gets a date change, creating a bang of a start to Kokanee Crankworx as one of 3 DH events in 4 days. The 2011 Canadian Open DH will once again be a fan favorite and will certainly be worth the hike into the Whistler Mountain Bike Park to check out the action.
