Yes. Human + competition = complications. Off track but not having to re-enter at exit point = advantage. Great runs by Rachael & Tracy & Emelie. I think it is great we are talking about the women's racing. A great sign for DH. P Oh, and those photos are pretty ok too. I'm glad the processing lab could meet the deadline.

The horse isn't dead enough yet. The real question to ask is where does it say that a rider MAY enter a course at a different point to the exit? Answer: it doesn't. It only says that a rider MUST re-enter at point of exit. There is nothing in the rule to moderate this statement. There is a FURTHER condition that states that a commissaire may DQ a rider if the commissaire finds that the rider gained an advantage by exiting and re-entering, it says NOTHING about such re-entry taking place at a different point on the track.

The dirt is jumping out of the way screaming for mercy. And the video showing her bouncing up to the finish is just impressive to see her do. That fork flex shows just how much spring they are running on this course. Huge flex way before bottom out. That is a lot of spring. P

Inspired runs by the racers. Every time I watch I am blown away by the incredible skill, speed, level of commitment & level of risk all the racers take on to compete. Monster balls. Huge respect. That said, those crashes were horrific & I heard myself yelling in horror as I saw them lawn darting towards those rocks. I hope there are no significant injuries. P

Great coverage as always! Thanks! How do you break a chain in DH? Smash it? Cross chain? Chain growth? Brendon was pinned before he lost his. Crazy track, I can see why they call it a Man's Track. Nerve wracking watching them go down. P
