Do pinions rattle at all? I think rattle on a bike is worse than garbage breaks. I would (begrudgingly) accept headset routing if it absolutely guaranteed complete silence from all other components ….but I do like single speeds. So maybe I’m an outlier

Scott bikes have an extra 100$ time tax at this point every time one comes through the door for more than a quick adjustment. Every new internal shock bike I've seen out in the wild also sound like a bag of metal blocks falling down the stairs when climbing.

Correct me if I’m wrong, and it seems like the MUSNatDh series is doing this, but don’t most of those incredible and awesome regionals all offer USAC points still? if WE are growing USDH (as much as usac is clunky and slow and horrible to deal with in the past) don’t we all just need those points? And yes, monster is planning to incorporate new venues in the future but this is a good start. US OPEN could also be the name of multiple regional headliners. you need usac points if you wanna go to discovery elite only World Cup...

I like to think vali goes big as possible while she’s primed in her career. perhaps she gets on spesh (lack of a woman’s team member?) but if YT just made a team around her, perhaps that simply pays better than anyone with 5-6 racers to feed could budget for.
