Marc Added a comment about news story RESULTS: Lenzerheide World Cup Downhill Final

Apart from Minnaar taking the win - which as a South African is a pretty big deal for me. Can I just say massive props to Dean Lucas for the podium finish, and Ed Masters almost making the top ten! He's the manager of a team that schooled some of the fastest podium contenders, big up!

The most important part of learning to do a stoppie: calling it a stoppie and not an "endo"

I think you mean Norco wants their bike back. Horst link pivot rocker link, this thing is pretty much an Aurom. Trek uses ABP/Split Pivot rear end.

Marc Added a comment about feature First Look: Shimano XTR Di2 Electronic Shifting for MTB

I really can't understand all you haters.. I work at a bike shop and have frequent dealings with electronic groupsets on road bikes and can say it trumps the mechanical groups absolutely. The battery lasts like they say, the shifting is so smooth you can change gear while cranking it up a hill and it won't skip a beat. It's so reliable it's actually bad for us as customers will only come in once a year to have the bike serviced. The only reason people are hating is because of the price.. Get over it. Cycling is expensive.

I bought the previous Enve DH bar and like the feel for a while until I cut them down to 780mm not sure why it's such a big deal to people that they are this wide. There are people out there who need it that wide, although not many at least they give you the option and if it doesn't suite you just CUT THEM DOWN.

Jeez how much do they pay cops in NZ?! Puts things in perspective considering I get paid fairly well by South African standards and I work at a bike shop so I get staff discount and I still could never afford an Sworks demo!

It is a known problem... Enve riders find they tend to pull spokes through the rim due to their high spoke tension. I work at a bike shop that sees enve wheels all the time. And before you go hating on carbon or Enve, Minnaar told me himself that while running WTB wheels prior to the Syndicate picking Enve up as a sponsor he was going through up to 25-30 rims in a single race weekend. Now with Enve that figure is down to 8-10

Have you ever used a csixx? If you have you'll know it features woven carbon (less susceptible to abrasion damage) rubber on the guide to prevent chain-slapping-plastic noise and kevlar woven into the "taco" part of the bashguard which helps it slide off rocks rather than hook up and stop you dead. It's a better engineered product, and I don't even have to look at the Ethirteen to know this

Words by Sean “Griz” McClendon. Photos by Ian Collins. Well-known and respected in the motocross world, ONE Industries is about to make a charge into the bike market, and they're doing it in style. We recently had the opportunity to try out the new ONE Vapor pant, a crossover from their moto line that feels like it was made for mountain biking. Made with two-way stretch polyester, a touch of leather, an adjustable waist, and a velcro-style waist closure, the Vapor pant is like no other.
