chasejj: Do you hate on car valet service as well? Sure, I can clean it with water and sponge at home and cheaper! But maybe I just want to have it done properly? Maybe I just cant be bothered and want someone to do the work for me? Just because you dont give a dam about your belongings does not mean others are stupid for wanting to protect and preserve what is theirs and for someone else for enabling them to do so.

The tallboy ain’t an XC bike, that’d be the Blur. He basically achieved a Hightower with more playful geometry (albeit less travel but it’s really all you need) but a good pound lighter than the same build would be on a Hightower.

Who thought it is a good idea to use 50 shades of grey and Orange/More Orange/Kinda Red colours for those graph lines? :D Otherwise it's super interesting stuff. Especially the trends over time. Also funny to see how much money US people get thrown at them. My bike is above average value but my income is way lower than you have in "under $$$".

Actually there is SRAM CenterLine rotor in 200mm for Centerlock. But that is about it.

Ouch, the geo hasn't changed much if you size down. This shock location offers superior performance... (Trust me I would not have released it if it didn't!) in a stronger package with lower center of gravity, there really is no area where the performance does not improve. If your reasoning is purely due to aesthetic reasons liking horizontal shock, then fair enough, that will always come down to personal preference... but these bikes look so much better in real life than in photos. I'd appreciate it if wait until you have read some reviews and had a test ride before...

2Kg wheelset, I think I'll pass, TVYM. Where the hell does the weight come from anyway? They say, there's only 80g of that foam in the wheels.
