AndehM Liked a comment about Feature FIRST RIDE: Specialized Launches the Levo SL Gen 2

I remain unconvinced about the purpose of these light / low power ebikes, particularly for people who are relatively fit and ride often. I own both a full power Levo, and a Nomad, both set up nearly identically. I grab the Levo when I have limited time (or the dirt is REALLY good) to get as much descending in as short a possible time. On my last ride, I did 3,760 ft in 1:04, and had about 60% of the battery left. According to Spec's info, the Levo SL g2 with range extender would run out of juice in full...

@Jason_Schroeder - thanks for this and just getting a chance to listen. Do you have any idea (or would you mind asking) what brand and model of helmet Bob is talking about at the 37 minute mark? I've got a 3 year old who needs a new helmet and loves to crash. I would appreciate it. I currently have 3x 6D helmets in my garage so also tell him thanks for prioritizing protection against concussions and not necessarily looks or size

Thanks Jason. Much appreciated! I suspect the new weight limits will be much higher. This gives me piece of mind with my hangtight and e-bike, thanks again.

With that in mind, and the bike industry evolving so quickly with e-bikes, we are testing the weight limits per cradle so we can expand the way that we communicate to our customers the upper, per-bike weight limits of our vertical style racks. We are sticklers on the safety of our product and will fully test and vet new limits...

Jason- Thanks for this review. Can you please ask Yakima what specifically the issue is with heavier bikes? I held myself up on one of the handle bar mounts and it was fine. Maybe 6 heavy bikes creates swaying??? I'm curious
