And by the way. You can’t use a halflink on a narrowwide chainring

I was too. I have seen and read many single speeders used an oval chainring. Though some uses ebb and sliding dropouts, that is the same principles with a fixed dropped out after tightening the bolts. Just lucky to have a magic gear.

Since tension is fixed. Cannot adjust it because of no sliding drop out. I used a narrow wide cogs too, 11 speed chain. Principle of narrow wide chainring on dropped chain is also in effect on the cog. Minimized side to side movement of chain

Magic gear! No half link. I use oval narrow wide chain ring and narrow wide cogs. I’ll use this for some flowy trails. Single track trail riding. And some cruising.
