King of Gnarnia Added a comment about product review Stamp EVO
4/23/2026 11:05am Size 14, just rode on these and have used the Catalyst pedals as well. Generally ride the Kona Wah Wah's. I am sold on the Stamp Evo. Even on the Wah Wah's which are a pretty big pedal, I curl my toes for some reason and end up with foot pain. I have used the Catalysts before; the length is supportive but I ride a bit duck footed and the pedals weren't wide enough for me. The EVO's seem like a goldilocks. Foot was supported all the way though and I was comfortable in my normal stance, which also helps...

King of Gnarnia Added a comment about feature Sea Otter Classic - Day 1 Part 2
4/11/2025 1:52pm I have used the Pedaling Innovation Catalyst pedals before. Size 14 Shoe Pros: Whole foot is supported; I tend to claw my toes on even large pedals like the Kona Wah Wah 2's and Chromag Dagga. Don't do that with the Cayalysts and my feet feel a whole lot better Con: For me its the width. I just like to ride with a wider stance and these are narrow for me. And I am not sold on Pedal Extenders.

3/14/2025 3:27pm I have used the vibrocore bars. I find them better to use use on my steel bikes or hardtails. For me, it helps with dulling the chatter. But I also run larger grips, silicone or other materials. I do think the vibrocore rims have a more pronounced effect. Dulls the trail a bit, which is the point I guess. Better...

8/28/2023 1:08pm
The Smuggler has been a staple of Transition’s line up for a while, but the very latest generation had us waiting for it as Transition took their time giving it the same refresh as the rest of the range. When the Smuggler finally returned for 2023 it featured the new design language also found on most of the other Transition bikes, along with the mandatory longer and slacker treatment. Sporting travel numbers that puts it squarely in the “trail bike” category, we were excited to make it our daily driver to figure out what it’s made of. Keep reading to...

8/28/2023 12:58pm You didn't ask me but I have been running the DB Coil Inline from day one. I have been using the Sprindex Progressive spring and I like it. Traction has been good and I still have pop. I am a heavier rider (220lbs+) so sometimes I do scrape my pedals while riding in more technical terrain or when I start to put the power down. I have not been on the stock shock.
