I'm currently running the Attack FSX as a rear tire and have been enjoying it. The center knobs have a wider braking edge and more ramp to help with rolling speed. I don't think the HPL would be bad in the rear though.

There will always be bikes "left out" of these group tests. When we gather a collection such as this our goal is typically to get bikes that we have not reviewed. We realize that not every reader sees every review though, it's always a give and take. This year was particularly tough given the (at the time) ongoing bike shortage. We had several bikes lined up months in advance, only to have them fall through at the last minute. I digress... Just in case, here are reviews on bikes that were not present in this test but would have otherwise...

Hey thank you guys so much for sharing this, especially with so much going on over the past few months. I know i upset some people by speaking out and advocating for others like me, and I really wasn't sure if that would ruin things when it came to bigger websites like this being willing to feature any of our videos moving forward. Seeing this pop on the homepage was a huge surprise and it not only made me smile but literally brought a few tears to my eyes. I appreciate you guys so much and I am so grateful...

Awesome review! One of the main points of feedback we have received is in regards to the need for a 12mm wrench for adjustments which as you have mentioned can be not very convenient for trail side tuning. To address this we have made a small 3D printed tool that has both a 12mm socket and the 4mm hex that works pretty well. If you need one hit us up. We also are now including with new shocks as well or if you send it in for service mention you want one and we will throw it in.

Thank you! Lots of subtle differences but the biggest thing I noticed is how the dw link remains more active in situations where the linkage-driven single pivot of the Meta tends to lock up a bit--I first felt it when putting power down on techy climbs, but it became really evident when leaning the bike through bombed-out, rutty corners--the bike just feels more composed and less choppy. That said, I can't really say how much of this is down to the coil, as this is my first coil and first dw bike. Overall the Ibis feels more lively and rides...

Looks sick man! How would you compare the Ripmo AF to your Meta TR? I just rode my sons new Meta TR the other day and put my thoughts on on my instagram @havenoutdoors .
