Sweet ride! What travel are you running on the Boxxer? Do you know the head angle measurement if it’s 200mm (stock)?

Does anyone know if the boost version actually has wider tire clearance? Seems that way from comments in the article, but I can't find any measurements on the www.

Great article! Any feedback on the stiffness claims of the rear wheel? I've noticed King's new boost front hub sacrifices flange width for symmetrical spacing. They are ~15mm closer together than I9's boost hub, but should result in equal spoke tension, and likely a dishless wheel. I'm no engineer, but 15mm wider seems like a big advantage. Chris' comments on the subject are interesting.

I had really high hopes for these, but a couple of "joey" crashes not being able to unclip, left me disappointed and were removed from my rig. Good to know the longer spindles work and that CB is actually selling them separately. I may just give them another go. I second the comment around Time. Nothing else works better but they could use a nice platform update like these Mallet's. Another major factor for that "flat-pedal feeling" is cleat placement. The Five Ten's in the review don't allow for enough rearward placement in my opinion. The new Spec 2FO Cliplite...

I haven't seen any on the trails in Alberta, but I shoved some 2.8" Nobby Nics into my bike and couldn't get over how much easier technical sections became. I even compared some Strava segments and all were faster (up and down). They did feel a bit squirmy on compressions (big dips) in the trail however. The rear tire started...

Apologies, I didn't mean to come off as a dick. I think it would be incredibly helpful to see the same reviewer draw comparisons between bikes. Specifically, I followed your site's reviews of the Nomad and Capra but was unable to draw a conclusion on what to buy, without doing way more research outside of your site. Different perspectives and a whole lot of variables. For me (and this may be a small representation of your readership), I don't care about the tires or brakes or drivetrain on the spec. I can inform myself on those another day and more...

It's a super loud bike unfortunately. I've ridden the last three generations and the noise on this one is nothing short of disappointing. It should be noted, it's by far the fastest of the last three.

So, goldilocks? I don't get it. Every bike review I read these days is a rave review. Let's hear some comparisons.

A small compressor can be similar in price to a good floor pump. I've had one instead of a pump for years. Even then, you can struggle with new tires. Remove the valve core and connect an air blower to the open valve with clear plastic tubing (this ensures a tight seal and avoids jamming the blower in between spokes...
