As composite engineer with quite a bit of experience of impact resistance, I prefer helmets without MIPS. The most important aspect in protection is to have the shell as close to the skull as possible to avoid additional accellerations.

Luckily, IXS has another Softpad which is slightly longer and with sideprotection, the Carve Evo. So argument invalid? Flow also comes with a Zip option.

agree on all points. Never rode a quicker bike than the wrecker. Quicker than many DH bikes on my local trails.

I cannot recognize the twitchyness at all. Nor the balance issues. And I¨ve never heard or read anything similar in any forum or any review... I would deem this down to settings issues, or just plain unfamiliarity. This bike is for most people, but not absolutely everyone..
