It's a neutral gear to allow the suspension to work more freely of chain tension and provide less pedal kickback. And it's an awesomely ghetto way to accomplish that haha

Chatted with Dak Norton briefly after qualifying and he said avoiding flats is one of the biggest priorities this weekend. Lot of flat tire victims today

Jason_Schroeder Added a comment about product review Fugitive
9/1/2021 3:17pm
I unfortunately have not ridden the previous Fugitive LT to draw a comparison against. The main reason I found the Fugitive 138 lacked a snappy/playful demeanor on flow trails was mostly due to the length of the bike. The bigger size made it a big ship to steer (or jump) in many situations. I was still able to have fun flowing down bike park style trails, but found myself a little underwhelmed and required to pull up or yank harder for trail side features. The strength of the larger size definitely leant itself to stability on rough trails.

Jason_Schroeder Added a comment about feature WORLD CHAMPS - The Inside Line Podcast
8/28/2021 2:03pm
Appreciate your thoughts on the USDH Unfiltered podcasts we've been doing. The goal thus far has been to keep a relaxed vibe with this sub-division of the Inside Line podcasts to counter the usual interviews detailing an individuals life/career. Which I've personally loved since they started, even prior to being with Vital. Four episodes in I know for a fact we have room to improve with additional structure a high priority to work on. We have been aiming to keep things natural and let topics flow as they pop up. We have a general outline and talking points for each...

He is one of the younger riders in the pro field (born in 1998!). He has had some good U23 finishes in international competition but those results don't make the news as much as a pro finish. Expect to see his name more now!
