Personally, I go to www.google.com/products and search for what i want, then sort it by price lowest to highest. Ive saved myself easily over 200$ by doing that. Another thing is try emailing the actual company and see if you can get wholesale pricing.

IMO, id make it out of something like panel siding, with 2x4 A frame supports with a 4x4" support bar at the bottom, buried in a 4" trench

I ordered up a set of atomlab wheels ( front is pimplite 20mm to a pimplite blue rim, Rear is Pimp hub to pimplite blue rim) and I have to say, I saved a ton of money by going through Rattbones on pinkbike.
