11/15/2022 7:57am Curious to know...are there any upgrades I should be looking at in the future for my 2021 Specialized Rockhopper Elite 27.5? I know it's an entry level bike and if I had stuck with riding from all those years ago I would most likely be in the market for something different. I have noticed a clunking sound when I switch...

11/15/2022 7:51am Anyone out there interested in MMA? Let's talk here. Big news recently with the passing of Anthony "Rumble" Johnson at the age of 38. Plus the recent UFC 281 event saw Israel Adesanya get dethroned as the Middleweight Champion by longtime kickboxing rival Alex Pereira.

11/15/2022 7:38am South Los Angeles rider just switched over from BMX. Looking for local riders to film and progress with. Currently on a 130mm trail bike. Mostly jumping but always looking for more natural features to ride and film on. Also looking forward to trying a bike park for the first time. SkyPark anyone?

11/15/2022 7:37am Hi everybody, I'm Matthew and I have an addiction to biking. I was never a huge biker when I was a kid but enjoyed it. Never did anything crazy - craziest thing I would have done is going on a dirt path! I decided I wanted to bike to commute and bought a cheap box store bike. I also took it out for rides, again mostly street but did go through some fields and what not. Within a year that box store bike was toast and fell apart - needed new cranks and brake levers they literally snapped off! So...

11/10/2022 12:20pm Would really like a seat dropper post...so many to choose from though. I've read some of the Vital reviews on them here, but then the comments on the review really throws me off.

11/2/2022 10:13am Awesome that you've been able to get back in the saddle recently- ease into it and keep it fun! The uphill fitness will come with regular riding over a good amount of time. On the downhills, no stress either as you will slowly but surely get the muscle memory for braking, turning, jumping, etc. back- I've felt awkward as heck after just small periods (few months) off the bike. I think easy/intermediate flow trails are the best for jumping back into it as they're fun at all ability levels, the features and lines are easy to remember after a few...

11/2/2022 8:45am @imjustabill1970 - so sorry to hear about the loss of your son. echoing the others here, just get out and go for it, taking your time. i know it may not be exciting, but a spin bike (got one for $100 off craigslist...no electronics, just super basic) has helped me keep in shape when it gets cold or too muddy to ride. it's a great way to keep (or establish) some base fitness.

11/2/2022 8:08am First off, congrats on getting back on the bike. You had a massive life changing event and to have the will power to go back is a huge win. Piggy backing off the rubber side down, I would recommend considering some knee and elbow pads. I personally get motivated biking when I'm progressing technically, and that progression sometimes leads to crashes. Having knee and elbow pads lets me laugh that off and not deal with skin sticking to the bed for a week. Something like 7idp Transition or Sam Hill Lite pads are great for protecting against scrapes on most...

11/2/2022 7:36am Just get out and ride stay local til your comfortable then go further out til you can’t stand riding the same old trails mix some hills in to build some muscle. And make excuses to go out riding instead of making excuses to not go! Keep it rubber side down recovering from falls screws all your progress & RIDE make it your motto All I want to do is RIDE it’s working for me, I’m sure it’ll work for you.

10/31/2022 9:27am I introduced myself about a week ago. I used to ride leisurely, but regularly, years ago (just over 10 years ago) with my son. He went to heaven in 2009 and I just never really had the motivation to get back into it. I tried, but just couldn't really get back into it. I sold the bike that I rode...
