Pads slipping a little, first thought was my headset being loose, nah it wasn’t , Wheel clicks, and shudders a little under harsh braking, pads shifting 🤷🏻♂️ One thing I've noticed with the MDR rotors is because they are two pieces sometimes you get play between the carrier and the braking surface. This can account for the pads slipping sensation you are talking about. If you lock the front brake and rotate the front wheel you can see the play in the little dovetail joints on the rotor. Ive had some luck in the past with using plastic shim stock to get the caliper to sit even off the rotor. Cut a couple strips and run them in the gap between the rotor and pad, tighten caliper.

Is this after putting a fresh set of pads in? Or are your pads about roached? I get slight rub before I have bed in my breaks and I will also get it when my pads are on life support. Big Bird has great advice. Assuming you don't have any stuck pistons and your pads are healthy try this; Push all your pistons in. Line your caliper up so you have equal space on both sides. Squeeze your leaver a bunch. This will get your pistons into their resting position, some will be slightly further out then others. That is...

Also... If the pistons have gotten sticky they should be lubed with brake fluid so they move evenly when the lever is compressed.

My technique for centering pads is to set everything up Almost tight, but with just enough slack for the caliper to easily move. Then spin the wheel gently and slowly grab the brake. Then with the brake still on, just Slightly tighten the caliper bolts just enough to keep it in place. Then spin the wheel and look down through the caliper to see how even it is. If it's not perfect, loosen one bolt at a time and move that end of the caliper to center it. Repeat if necessary on the other bolt. Once you're happy with the...
