Looking at my Dirt Mag fantasy team, that must be the single biggest collective yardsale of any fantasy team ever. When your highest place finisher is Gwin in 5th, you know you're doing it wrong. One of the most exciting races of the year to watch though - that track was brutal. Stoked for Brook, been a long time in the making!

Surely these guys would be better off just picking up one of those new base layer w/ minimal body armor built-in thingies? There's NO WAY that could be less comfortable than duct-taping cardboard boxes to yourself. Of course, as a protest, Maxi-Pads and Kellogg's are way better... ;-)

If you're unfamiliar with the inner workings of the post, take a moment to revisit this "First Look" feature that we prepared when the post was first launched: As you can tell by watching that slideshow, when we first got our hands on it we were pretty impressed. Everything...

Super nice shot here! You've put a lot into it. I've got a question on the lighting aspect. With a flash, you're probably limited to a 1/250 shutter (or possibly 1/320 with hi-speed sync on some cameras - unless you're shooting with an electronic shutter but I doubt that). That's not fast enough to really freeze the action of course, although at this distance the angular speed of the subject is reduced, even though he's hauling the mail here. Does that mean it's really the flash freezing the action? (the flash burst is much shorter than 1/250 typically). In other...

This finally settles the argument. It doesn't matter.
