Yeah, this is really about as good as it gets eh? Simply incredible riding, and that's BEFORE you even get to the huge drop part. That was just ridiculous. To make that look soooo smooth... Been waiting for this since we saw the still - well worth the wait!

A Commencal and a Knolly had a baby. On the more serious note, we know what a well-thought-out linkage-tuned single pivot can do (Makulu hrm hrm) - if these guys have got it right, it should perform.Nice clean lines and modern geo - no reason it wouldn't.

Yes, a more expensive series to participate in, but maybe take a leaf out of the (probably never getting off the ground?) DH1 book, with fewer elite teams and allow teams to not...

This is awesome! We've seen lots of Blackrock vids already, but this one really showcases the place for what it seems to be. Great riding, and a lot of hard work on the filming. Loved the timing on a lot of those cable cam shots...probably not all first attempts eh? :-) This is the kind of video to bookmark and bring out when somebody asks what freeride mountainbiking is. Definitely have to try to get to Blackrock at some point in life.

OK c'mon now. Who played Aaron in the closing sequence??? :-) Oh and to close out the year in style, I think Vital should get a Shreddy for the "Best MTB Awards Series of 2011"....for.... "the Shreddies"!!!

Now, guessing the RIDER of the year, that's a different story....and it would have to depend on the discipline etc...I wouldn't know where to start even. Semenuk for winning the FMB tour and Crankworx slopestyle (finally), Aaron for the 5 WC wins and the overall?

Johnny, I never said you couldn't, I was just referring to big-S's notorious disapproval of people getting too rowdy on their non-gravity specific line up (then promptly countered by them running an ad with Brendog hucking a crazy gap on his Enduro....you figure it out...
). The Evo line looks absolute killer for sure, if I could have more than 1 bike, it would be on a very short list of "all-mountain" candidates.
