10/20/2021 4:45am Special care and attention is needed when installing the dorado axle, you can't just push it in, tighten the end bolt then the pinch bolts. Doing this leaves a 2-3mm gap between the fork leg and the hub cone, this causes the seal to ovalize, therefore causing premature seal failure. To properly install, you must push the axle in, let the end of the axle stick out about 1mm, or just enough to feel a lip, dont make it flush, then tighten those pinch bolts, then you can tighten the end bolt, then finally the other pinch bolts. This will...

10/19/2021 3:19pm Don't worry, servowave plays very nice with the MT calipers. I have SLX BL-M7100, XT 8100, XTR 9120 levers, all feel much better than the Magura HC3. This is first hand experience, not just some friend's recommendation. Of all these I prefer the feel of XTR but thats not cheap. XT is also fine but very similar to SLX. As...

10/15/2021 1:12pm Guys... just get a bottle of Bionol when they are back in stock. Compatible with all the mineral oil brakes. ;-) https://trickstuff.de/bionol/?lang=en And some major german webshops usually have it as well. I had a 1000ml bottle and used it on every mineral compatible systems (Magura, Shimano, Formula, Rotor) without any problems at all.

10/14/2021 8:45am Hi everyone, i used "shigura" brakes in the previous cannondale moterra 2020, with levers xt 8120 and magura mt5 calipers and it work perfectly, tons of braking power and modulation

10/14/2021 8:44am I can't really contribute to the conversation... But I will say Galfer 220 discs with Codes is a great upgrade, not necessarily for the extra power, but they are so thick they reduce the SRAM lever throw and actually make the levers feel pretty good. (very hard not to have brake rub though)

10/14/2021 10:17pm Haven't tried everything, but with these: 7100, 8100, 9120 levers with MT5 and MT7 calipers, Goodridge hoses, Danico Biotech oil there is no wandering bite point ever in any conditions. (I also had an older 7xx XT brake set so I think I know your pain ;-) )

10/14/2021 8:18am That's not true. I had Cura 2-pot brakes those were more "on-off" than these, had great power but faded quick. I have a similar setup MT7+XTR setup and also an MT5+XT both setup with Goodridge hoses. (I also ran MT5+SLX for a while but messed the bladder up with vacuum bleeding). The MT7 is paired with 220mm rotors and 27,5x4,5"...
