Eh, but NX is heavy, and the frames are built to last. Its an enduro bike, not a trail bike. I applaud Transition for making bikes that are servicable, reliable and (likely) to outlast the competition. I'm riding one of their alloy frames now. My bike is not light. I have no problems going uphill compared to a lighter enduro rig and am less scared when I throw it into a pile of rocks. YMMV.
