a couple questions 1. did red bull negotiate this as part of their contract with the uci? 2. is red bull paying for exclusivity on the podium or otherwise? some opinions i would think that the other teams and sponsors involved in the uci dh circuit most certainly would have needed to been aware of this exclusivity that red bull...

this is a classic argument every municipality in the lower mainland trots out. oh there is a hazard somebody might get hurt or oh this is harming the environment unless of course you are a real estate developer and then its full speed ahead and lets clear cut everything and pave it. the north vancouver regional district pulled the same crap when they tore out dirt jumps a bunch of industrious young bicycle enthusiasts built. meanwhile crumbling sidewalks exposed bolts and open air drug markets are fine to have throughout the lower mainland.
