Such a solid episode. Interviews with Frank are great and I really like seeing the challenges with designing your own frame. Really puts it all into perspective, especially with the inside look at the elite level. I keep thinking Neko could set up a pretty solid team in the future with this experience.

Yes, check out Boyd Cycling. They have been around for a long time now and are well known in the Road, Cyclocross, and Gravel World. I have been testing MTB wheels for them for 6 years now and have been through 2 generations of their Ridgeline MTB Carbon Wheelsets. Very durable. The Tripal Hubs have great engagement! My whole race...

Grassroots racing at its best and a great opportunity for young up-and-coming South East Racers to learn the discipline of Dual Slalom Racing. Greenville Rec and SEI Racing teamed up to promote a 3-race series over the past few months that turned out to be a great success for grassroots dual slalom racing. @ride_kanuga @ridefoxbike @cushcore @teamseiracing @greenvilerec

FOX does not offer that size in the DPX2 as an aftermarket shock for the public at this time. They are special order for OEM and FOX's athletes only as far as I know. I am waiting on one to be built for me and should have it in April to put on this bike.

Yep, Maxxis did a great job bringing quality tires to everybody, but the truth is that the High Roller, Minion DHR and Minion DHF were nothing but rip-offs of Michelin's Comp 16, 24 and 32 with some tweaks here and there. The Comp 24 actually goes WAY back, starting life as the Transalp, then being offered as the Hot S with Silica Compound and noticeably red. I believe the WildGripper DH soft 2.2 was also very similar to the Transalp tread-pattern. Michelins were highly sought-after at the beginning of the 2000's until the middle of the decade, but they were...

Yah, I won National Champs in 2001 at Mt Snow on the Comp 32 front and rear. The speeds and rocks basically required you to run a high volume tire or you would be replacing rims every other run. Yes, to the High Roller being a copy of the Comp16. As for the Comp22 (AKA Comp 24), it was its...

Not 100% all true. I will say Maxxis did do well in the early 2000's, but the Michelin Comp 16 and 32 were still the top tire choice of Pro's into the early/mid 2000s. I was mainly stating that Michelin set the standard and design for even tires of today. A lot of people think the High Roller set the...

Have ridden and R&D tires for Michelin in the past for almost 10 years. I would bet the DH32 will be a larger air volume tire with larger lugs much like the old Comp32. Note: I do not ride for them now, but do ride for Continental Tires. The most successful DH tires of all time would have been the...
