Sure they started out making flat soled skateboarding shoes that just happened to be good for BMX/Mountain Biking.. These companies are just like the corporate machine that Nike is, just look at DC, started...

2/19/2010 8:17am Can't say I agree w/you on the Nike bit.. I think Mountain biking needs as much support as it can get, and Nike just happens to have deep pockets. Nike supporting Mountain Biking will only further legitimize our sport to the general public.
