jeeze last month it was Skymall.. and now Dirt magazine thanks to the proliferation of WIFI. More reason to get out on the bike, in the mountains with no reception, unplugged.

Ohlins internals. Fork is irrelevant. It is just a host body. Again, TTX22M is by choice. Rareness, bling and looks. All we're saying is that for the sticker price it is heavy.

EastCoast Started a new thread 2012 Stumpjumper Evo I-9 wheels

Specialized Stumpjumper Evo frame. Large Pivots rebuilt last fall. Not much riding since then. Bike is in great shape and has tons of life left. Fox shock on frame has very little ride time on it. This frame had a different shock on it for most of its life. Price includes: Frame/rear shock Cane Creek 110 headset. Super smooth. Specialized...

I currently live in Maine and there are alot of trails that are downhill and technical, but not very steep so gravity alone isn't enough. I also want even my biggest travel bike to be able to clean steep technical uphills and a 34 or 36 chainring with a 34t large cog doesn't cut it. Basically, I don't like to push my bike, ever. Even when I am on my 34ish pound mini-DH bike I like to clean every technical uphill that I can do on a light hardtail. Maybe I am a rarity but I cringe when I see...

Honestly, living in Richmond (about 2.5 hrs. north) I would love to see a trail like this. Our local scene seems to be stuck in the same dormant style of riding and would love to see something with a couple of berms and possible areas to catch some air. Elevated, if you want to come build up here I would happily welcome it.

My favorite part is that all these 'mountain bikers' would whine like little girls if they got a tour of the goods. Then they'd be bitching that there was NO flow. Bring your own flow boys. My best to ETD.

EastCoast Added a comment about video Roost DH: Mountain biking in the winter sun!

Cool video, I bet it was nice to get down there and ride some dry trails in that climate! I was wondering if anyone had considered that it was a bad idea to throw roost everywhere....my point is that when you ride like that you destroy the trails by skidding and powersliding through stuff. Where I live, when you ride like that, on the edge of control, you give land managers more reason to build the bs trails with machines that are boring. We lose the technical aspect of mountain biking that necessitates having a full suspension bike at all...
