wow...seems like you are on top of the scene, my bad....1. most factory workers in Taiwan are not Taiwanese, the wages are too low...they are predominantly Thai...so they do not own homes, they live in local dorms, and do get fed three squares in the factories, and send all their money back to Thailand...and as the Thai Bhat gets stronger they are moving to higher wage jobs elsewhere and Indonesians are moving in..2. the only significant maker of carbon frames in Taiwan is Giant, and they do feed their workers twice a day with the option of dinner for overtime...3...

"Made in the USA means you get what you pay for. All of the employees at Intense have shoes, are American and sometimes get pizza for lunch on the house." ...dumbest most ignorant comment ever....I never heard of "Griz" and ..I really don't care...just please do not let him write another ass kiss article that ends with a racist slander ...oh and for the record ...all of Intense's carbon bikes are not made in the "Good Ole USA"...they are made by Asians that are served breakfast, lunch and dinner with free housing, and they are all required to wear shoes...

looks very blown out and rutted ...not looking world class ...maybe a great test of courage and skill but looks like the WC was already there and gone..damn ugly in places with crappy falling away sidehills cutting across construction sites and dirt roads....hope no one gets screwed due to the condition of the course

very tough crash ...could have gone a lot worse...very happy Taylor came out OK....the young pinners certainly are not built like a Gee or a Mik or a Brook and I would applaud seeing HANs devices and back protectors as mandatory for Junior racers...would be a real shame if any youngster had a life changing injury that could have prevented by protective gear....

The leverage ratio is perfect for an air shock, it will give it a linear feel. Air shocks usually blow through beginning stroke and ramp at the end

Looks Amazing! though the leverage ratio is actually progressive at the start, and regressive at the end. this is not good. like the new design, low COG is good but not that necessary for a AM bike. i ride the 2012 sanction and the iDrive is a great pedaler, tho feels a bit too easy to bottom out, cause the leverage ratio is regressive. you absolutely dont feel the BB move, though in this new force its moving a bit more.

I really really like the force. Might be the new steed when it's released. I had an I-drive 5 a few years back and loved that, this just looks awesome, especially watching Dan tear it up like that

Denk adds huge legitimacy to the I Drive redesign...if he did not think it would work he would not have used it...bravo to GT for a truly new bike that is not a massaged version of old technology....note that FSR came from AMP in Laguna Beach almost 25 years ago...

@eestinkay....I missed the forum rule that mandates a probationary period on posting...how long should I wait ? this is not a set off of HB state park...the point ?... history...thats the point ...thats why I brought it up...I am a GT fan so I felt it should be mentioned that GT did a very similar ..Production model. 4 years ago...and yes the bike above is a nicely done product....will be great to see it in production one day.....and... I only point out spelling errors on smack talk posts...

agree on all points...never stated the IT-1 was a WC DH targted product..If I recall the bike was marketed as a FR platform ...hence the emphasis on no rear mech and stronger rear wheel build . .was merely reveiwing the philosophies and technology talked about in the video and stating that IMHO they are derivative and not revolutionary....

Glad the URT comment got editied. GT did not use a Gear box, they used a shimano 8 speed nexus, just like this bike ..with a transfer chain, , just like this bike ....wtih a patented idler wheel that positioned the chain to locate along the swingarm to cancel out pedal feedback...just like this bike....with a symmettric rear hub and shock actuating linkage a to tune the rate and a very high pivot to optimize the wheel....just like this bike...... Nicolai is true "gearbox" design in my book....
