Thank you. Yes I was having a bit of fun with the bottle mounts. You can fit two full size water bottles on the down tube or arrange it however you like. I don't think I'll offer that as standard but maybe a custom feature. Yes it's steel. Pretty much all of it is Columbus tubing except for the Promolloy 4130 chainstays.

It's a 210x55 reduced to 45. It's what I had on hand at the time. I would spe a 165x45 Float SL normally though. Keep the weight down.

Really nice frame. Really like the chainstay length as most bikes of this style are shorter. I'd like to see a real weight though. My Epic 8 Evo with same fork and shock is 28lbs with lighter wheels and drivetrain but minus too much weight weenie optimization.

Custom blend. It's a forest green metallic with a blue pearl over the top.

You could be right. I am purely going off picking up my 13.9kg trail bike and then picking this one up. It's not just a little lighter it's a huge difference in weight. I'll get the owner to weigh it and am OK with it being over 12kg because it won't be by much.

This unfortunately, WBD are only interested in return/profit from viewers eyes and money. Any racing in the southern hemipshere costs thema huge amount of money to cover and hence less profit. Our best bet locally is to build up an Aust/NZ series...

@DevlinCC I'm sure you can get it sorted out, you've got a cool product so now it's time to streamline. It's different for every company and skill set but I'm sure you make it happen. Hoping I can see one of these in person someday and try it out!

Thanks man. That's what I'm working through now. Lots of request for quotes out for 3D print, CNC and supply of materials etc. to be able to build in small volumes in a more economical way both financially and time wise. Funding is my single biggest hurdle, but I'll get there.

It's definitely not a bad thing. Canfield Bikes are top shelf quality but as you pointed out scaling up needs to be taken offshore to be price competitive and sustainable. Myself and Trinity aren't there yet as we are both still proving our bikes are worthy of a place in the market and neither of us can afford to go straight to a production company and order the many hundreds sometimes thousands minimum to be able to sell at lower prices......but that's OK too. Maybe one day we can. There are a huge amount of pieces to the puzzle, which...
