The Mallet E stock q-factor is the same (52mm) as the eggbeaters, candys, and mallet 2/3. Only the Mallet DH comes standard with the longer spindle (57mm). The input from our athletes and test riders in developing the Mallet E was that they wanted the 52mm q-factor for better maneuverability/clearance in the tighter trail conditions typical of enduro races, compared to DH races.
