Wow, that's absolute nonsense. Throw it on the large pile of snake oil and bad science that we have in this sport. The only thing that matters is where the grips are relative to the steering axis (grip offset). Where the bars and the stem clamp together is irrelevant. So many people swear by a particular stem length even when comparing vastly different bars, and the bars usually make a larger difference than the stem. Especially riser bars which change the grip offset a truckload depending on what angle they're rolled to. Even bars with the same sweep angle can...

Comparing stem lengths that are 1mm different while also changing the bars to ones with different backsweep etc. Really, nonsense.

Can see the fork tracer on the front so maybe this is some new prototype data acquisition system from fox? Like monitoring internal pressure of the damper circuit or something? Cable from rear damper is only going to that box and cable going from button on the bar is probably going to tracer on fork.

Me, Wyn and Brook arrived early before world champs in 08 and only had DH bikes. We borrowed rigid, cantilever brake equipped mtbs from the hotel and spent a day exploring the trails, it was insane haha. That was the last time the hotel let us borrow bikes that week!

A bit disappointing that the podcast didn't bring up the two elephants in the room. Why would they not use a 20mm axle for this fork and why they would choose not to make a light weight 180mm dual crown fork?
