Bummer. I had a few sources tell me they were going to pull out of the tailspin, but honestly I didn't see how they'd do it. This will be (likely) a very notable event for the European bike industry, but probably won't have a huge impact in North America. For those wondering, brands under their umbrella include Haibike, Ghost, Lapierre, Raleigh, and Batavus etc doing close to €1 billion in annual revenue. (with a B ) The biggest near-term impacts will likely be dealer losses, warranty uncertainty, supplier pain and another wave of heavily discounted inventory. Bla bla bla. Different...

A 170 with burly everything and a 120 or 130mm true trail bike with medium-weight everything. If I can have one more, it's a dirt jumper, and if I get four I'm adding a DH bike. But medium is as light as I can go. I can't have light things because I break them.

Re: Hutchinsons Installed a pair of hutchinson wyrms rlab in 29×2,4. Weighed in both at 850g. Install was easy, the sidewall feel much more substantial than exo+ and whatever kenda is using. Measures 66mm at the knobs and 62mm at the sidewall. Very round profile, bot bad imho. Recommended Pressure in the sidewall 1,5bar/22psi. Legit!

I offer myself as tribute! Ordered some Hutchinson Wyrm RaceLab. Will report. I can compare to rekons, rekon race, ground controls T7 and some kendas.

Sup Nerds, Is there any collective consensus about hutchinson tires? Really liking the made in eu(france) aspect, but hesitant to pull the trigger as online reviews are from the jurassic age or not that well written IMO. Cheers

honestly looking at some of the bloated product lines I agree. as an amateur consumer, I would suggest that what really is needed is 3 mtb frames, and 2 ebike frames max. an XC and downcountry model - like a flex stay 29er, pedalling prioritised a trail/all mountain model - regular suspension, maybe option of 29 or MX via flip chip. big travel bike - maybe but not necessarly high pivot, MX wheel, descent focussed suspension, could be a DH bike, park bike, enduro bike based on fork and drivetrain spec. and then 2 ebike front triangles that would work...

33. 34. and more, as you can basically add all accell brands which had to close their local facilities. These brands are now just a front with a name, the people who made the brand what it is are gone.
