Hey, I too attempted to build an amphibious bike for my freshman projects class at CU! Although ours was not successful for many reasons. I'm currently working on a Raspberry Pi powered system to data log my suspension. The first iteration will use accelerometers before and after dampening, and then I'll try to compare results. Here's a little footage from Trail Head Racing's trip to the 2013 Livewire Classic at Northstar. The team ended the weekend with Ashton Smith in 1st for CAT 1 19-29, Warren Kniss in 2nd for Junior Expert, Austin Tognetti in 2nd for CAT 2 19-29, and Hudson Tognetti in 3rd for Junior Expert.

Sweet vids all around and congrats to the winners! Those are some wicked prizes too. Not trying to start a judging war or anything (nobody got robbed ), but I enjoyed Kurt Shimada's video the most. Possibly one of the best contests in the bike scene? How many videos were entered?

I can't remember the last time I watched an edit this long and thought it was kickass front to back. So rad. That dust was insane, it looked like smoke from earth-scorching speed. The outtakes showed just how wild it is to ride too. Fun stuff!

I think a whistler world cup would be sick! or a west coast north america stop. but yea, itd be cool to see more diversity, its always rain and mud, which is exciting dont get me wrong, but some other conditions would be sick too
