How's the above average Joey supposed to know whether a signing bonus buys a swanky pad in an mtb paradise? I don't see how a 29er with that much travel can be lively, but based on how similarly lively a Med 5.5 is compared to my large 5010 v2, I won't be surprised if its liveliness is best-in-class.

Actual seat tube angles can be problematic for over-the-pedal fit for those with long legs, disproportionately long lower legs, and/or those who use flat pedals with a set-forward foot position. I've no idea how numerically significant this group is, but I believe it's what the OP is referring to.
