I would've been all over this but the cost/spec and the weight were just a bit too much. I'm guessing they were under some supply chain / inflation issues when they put this spec together. Hopefully it's not a trend for future models. I've loved my various Transitions.

And so we continue our shameful descent into e-hell. That hellish place where eveyone has become weak and soft and no one wants to have to do work for anything anymore. I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed. Alexa, play Little Dark Age.

These bikes are great, but if you can only have one bike, I say move up a class. Awesome bikes though if you can have a big bike for park days, travel, etc.

It is like a dropper, which means it depends on the situation. All my rides are long steady uphills with long steady descents and I think all the time about ditching the dropper and going back to the solid post just to save weight. I like droppers, don't get me wrong. But it's not a huge need for me. This auto lockout would be exactly the same. if I do flip a switch, it's once at the bottom at once at the top. But I realize that's not the same for everyone.

’m super curious if a moto-style wheel setup is really relevant to MTB or if this is just the latest industry direction to drive the market. I don’t have a ton of experience with dirt bikes, but they’re just so different considering the torque, the throttle, the weight, body position... is a smaller, fatter rear really going increase performance? In this case, it feels even more suspect, like YT is trying to blur the lines even further between MTB and Moto even though riding electric assist is lightyears away from having a throttle.
