BrianBuell Added a comment about feature Op-Ed - DON’T SPOIL THE RESULTS IN THE TITLE

So good! Not gonna lie here, occasionally I pull a Peter and peruse the home page attempting to not see the results before viewing the replay. Sometimes my discipline and will power is just not enough for the power of a review on the new MegaBoostSuperPlus solar-powered dropper post!

BrianBuell Added a comment about video Kirt Voreis Owns Whistler Mountain Bike Park

Why Kirt's edits are the best in the biz: 1. The way he see's the world while on a bike is so unique, every piece of content he ever unleashes upon the world reflects his originality and can never be duplicated. 2. Watching his edits make me want to try and duplicate everything he does because it looks obtainable and so much fun. 3. How smooth and effortless he makes things look, only to attempt them myself and get served a huge piece of humble pie. 4. He's always having more fun than anyone else, his attitude and outlook on...

There is “room” pun intended, for improvement for someone taller than 6 foot 1. The S3 felt comfortable for my 6 foot 7/8th-inch frame. The S4 felt slightly oversized in the parking lot, but once on the trail it was apparent it was the appropriate size for what I wanted to get out of it. If I were to guess, this issue will be addressed quickly, especially since they are manufacturing with metal.

They do not have 29er tread available yet that can compare to the Maxxis setup that I was on.

There are few places that can replicate a World Cup track around most parts, and you could say many bikes racing at the World Cup would struggle on domestic tracks. The 29 doesn’t feel like it’s too big, but it isn’t created for the local flow track.

That would absolutely make sense, however the overall rating is provided based upon overall impression. Since the Demo 8 scored 4 stars, the improvements that have been made allowed for the higher overall rating than the previous even if a few attributes got “worse”. What I was really paying attention to was the story behind the bike and what it’s intended use is, racing.

Think about getting back into racing all the time after tasting the pointy end a time or two at the highest level. Injury stopped me cold a few years back and since recovering I've dabbled in a few local races, one being the Aspen EWS posting competitive times. Having a kid, buying and house and pursuing a new career has...

BrianBuell Added a comment about video DOWNHILL LINE COMPARISON - Windrock Pro GRT

Wicked! Really interesting to see the ghost vs ghost overlay, the slab section was surprising as the outside line initially looked slower than the middle and inside but all riders finished nearly at the same time. Really cool visuals, can't wait to see more!

Austin has a pretty good case of neck beard going. Grow that out for Tennessee, you'll fit right in.

Vital MTB, I've always enjoyed The Test Sessions as they are honest, and are chalked full of interesting information. That being said, as much as I've tried to be a bike nerd, I'm wired differently, therefor I loved watching you guys huck your meat while racing against the clock and finding each bikes limitations. BT, you are like the ageless wonder, so fun to watch ride a bike and hear your giggles throughout. SW, I've missed your snark, honesty and monster truck mentality. I'm not sure where I fall in the overall demographic of riders, however in terms of capturing...

Multiple times. 29er's were great on the majority of trail I rode, however I missed a longer travel 27.5 when riding technical/tight trail, so I ultimately landed back on my 160mm Banshee Rune which for me provided the best all around ride for me and my surrounding trails.
Thank you for this, it brought back some good memories, made me realize I was one of those 5 o clock Arbor leeches, and made me laugh out loud many times. Mad respect to you MT and thank you for everything you did as it has had a big impact one way or another in my life! I have a few questions: what position did you play? How did you get involved with Sol Vista(FYI loved the 3 amigos and the elevated Mountain Cross start, bummer that the crusher didn't)?

It sucks to work with and takes 10x longer than it should, but after a year a recent pumptrack build in New Castle has proven that those chunks eventually do break down and create a solid surface, its not ideal, I'd work with it if it was the only option, but if you can, just get the rough shape worked...
I cannot call this the greatest run of all time, however the tight line choice and commitment was amazing at such high speeds in varying conditions. From personal experience, St Anne is a blast to ride in wet conditions, the track allows for control and confidence. Gwin does such a phenomenal job of making it look easy, if you watch the YT team video Neko explains how crafty he is with line choice. Visibly Gwin was on another level, but not much different than Hart, whereas Hill in 2008 was absolutely in another galaxy before falling at World Champs in...
