10/4/2011 5:10pm A hard tail will out climb and out accelerate any dual suspension bike.They are lighter and have more pedaling efficiency. On the down side,obviously a harsher ride.On a hard tail,you get really good at riding around with your butt about two inches above the seat.

2/7/2010 11:15pm Every time someone on here says skin suit,this is the first thing that pops into my mind. The only use for lycra I can condone is for blood n guts xc racing.In the real world,baggies with pockets save the day.I could only imagine what would have happend to Tomac if he crashed at speed in that suit.
A smaller tire will roll faster,but not have as much traction.I run a 2.1 wich is great for fast trails.If you ride on rocks alot,you should run a larger tire for the reasons Pwest stated above.There is such a thing as to big a tire and it will slow you down and make your bike feel sluggish due to drag.

2/5/2010 9:28pm The only bmx site I can think of that has frothing hate for mtb is The come up.As far as those videos,Ride bmx and Vital bmx thought they were great. Try hanging out at plus size bmx.They have a good mix of wheel sizes.

2/4/2010 7:52pm $600.00 doesnt go very far with dj bikes.As far as 24' we the people and building up a sunday model c are the most popular on vital bmx.Both are in your price range.Dan's comp has both.
