A downhill bike meant for shuttling or using a ski lift isn't for lazy people. Put a dropper and a motor on it so it self shuttles, then it's for lazy people?

The way you get around that line ma'am is to get to the top way ahead of your start time. Flat out. You're still making excuses. I have been the idiot I call your son and rolled up to a start gate by the hair of my head barely able to get in the gate. I've watched plenty of guys miss their start time. I've sat on crowded lifts, slow lifts, freezing lifts, stopped lifts, rickety shuttle trucks, you name it. I realized I love to race so much that I WILL ALWAYS SHOW UP EARLY because that's what grown...

Check your rule book. 2016 Rulebook: "(d) Each rider shall report to the starter at least three minutes before their scheduled starting time and shall start at the scheduled time. A rider starting early shall receive a time penalty, as determined by the Chief Referee. If a rider appears later than the appointed starting time, the start will be allowed only if it does not interfere with the riders starting on schedule. You are so full of it. If he's your son, you should be embarrassed at his ass hattery. The video said he's racing 30+ Cat 1. He's a grown man who should be able to wipe his ass the right way. I've raced since I was a kid in everything from motocross to BMX to mountain bikes to road bikes. Not one grown man on this planet have I ever seen that was STUPID ENOUGH to go through THE FRONT OF A START GATE!!!! He wasn't there to WIN or he'd have been at the start gate that apparently there...

5/14/2016 7:59am I work on BMWs for a living, so i have a bunch of cheap older cars that need work all the time. The 540 wag serves as the long distance transporter (park city and down south) and the wife's LR3 serves as the fatbike hauler in the winter.

I am probably reading into this too much...but I think the fact that he said the bike he will be riding will be exactly the same as the production model suggests that it might be a company that doesn't currently (but will as of the announcement...obviously) have a DH bike in their range. No matter who he has ridden for he has generally made at least minor adjustments to the production model to create his ideal race bike. So, if it is a new bike, it would make sense that he essentially designed it, so that that he would not...

1/25/2016 3:29pm Every expander cog I've used either shifted ok on the low end or the high end - never both. 11 speed casette with proper ramping and tooth jumps will shift a heck of a lot better. If it doesnt work, I'm out $12 and buy a gx shifter and derailleur and sell off the 10 speed x9 stuff I already...

1/25/2016 1:56pm New Xt casettes are $80 usd on ebay, if you're patient and get them from a Japanese seller. So $12 shifter mod, $80 casette and a KMC chain. Less than $120. I'm in.

1/25/2016 11:45am Tempting, been looking at 1x for the fatbike and this might be the ticket. Shimano xt casettes are cheap from japan and would drop the need for an xd driver.. Just went to order and the website is down due to bandwidth
