4/14/2022 3:36pm That is a 6 bar bb linkage. Similar to the DW6 but the wheel is connected to the chain stay not the seat stay

4/7/2022 5:27am The bike park edition dh 34 from Michelin is a good tire For the people who want a heavy casing tire that won’t wear out. Been rocking those since they came out and they’re still going strong

3/28/2022 8:43pm It also makes the total amount of travel decrease by about 15mm if it does go from 3 to 2.1. This wouldn't increase bottom out resistance in any way over the 3.3-2.1 set up. It would actually decrease it if an identical amount of sag was used. If less sag then could be equal. Just kind of would make it ride like a smaller bike, which may very well be the purpose. Spring rate, shock stroke, and amount of damping is all that dictates bottom out resistance. Leverage curve just makes it feel a certain way as it uses the...

3/13/2022 9:13pm to be fair the kinematics of the pivot dh bikes have not been similar to what most brands are doing for their dh frames and not in a good way most of the time. The pivot Phoenix has a leverage ratio that changes more frequently than the more preferred "linearly progressive" designs as Neko calls it where the leverage is...

2/28/2022 2:10pm Canfield has a rounder top tube and a brace strut in the shape of a skull which appears absent on this bike. Welds are slightly different too. In the video you can see a transition logo and more proof of no skull on the side. Source: I own a Canfield.

2/10/2022 2:52pm What’s up with Porsche and BMW trying to make bikes and their wheels are the old cobalt, iodine, opium wheel sets. I get that they look super different but crank brothers stopped making those wheels didn’t they? where do they get these wheels from?

2/10/2022 5:59am Porsche has been trying their hand at the bike industry. Absolute weirdest builds where their frame was obviously not their design and no geometry or any information to be found. No part spec list. Just wow it’s a bike from Porsche how cool would that be to ride. Hoping they’ll do better with this one.

1/11/2022 7:07am Ah macphesrson. While I agree that he tested it a lot, I am uncomfy about making a shock be a structural member of the frame. I’ll continue to use my multi link systems and spherical bearings
