At 5'9" and a 30" inseam, I was very much a medium. My guess would be that "large" territory starts in the 5'11" mark.

We know, we know, he's riding an electric bicycle. But hey, at least it's going down in the bike park. The German bike brand, R Raymon Bikes, seems to think we should crack a bag of Cheetos and have some fun. There may not be any e-bikes in our garages but we're not mad at this little nugget. Maybe Johannes and Eddie Masters should have a fat suit showdown.

Slaying neighborhoods, slaying trails; it's all the same to this bike. The only question we have is just how big a blade he's bringing to the forest... Any speculations on what we may see from Rocky Mountain? Leave them in the comments below. Rumor time!

I really feel like Primo was ahead of their time with that concave design, it was perfect for our Vans and Airwalk shoes to flex into...

every time i go to the bmx track, the racer kids' hubs mobbing the rhythm sound just like this. additionally, in the desert like that, w/o any wind, you can hear someone whisper from a 1/4 mile away. i bet if you were there, it wasn't too far off.

We will be building an entirely new course for the Proving Grounds event. It will be next to Black Sage and KJ, Carson and Cam will have a heavy hand in the design and on how it will be built. The PG course will feature 3 separate lines that will allow the athletes to choose their style and how big they want to go. It will feature massive flat drops, doubles, hips, step up/over/downs, rhythm sections. Check out our website for more details and hopefully we will see you at the Oregon Dirt Park Sept 6 to 8.

Thanks folks ... still remember meeting Spomer at a NORBA so many years ago and knowing instantly I’d met someone who got this whole MTB thing. Years of Littermag then Vital later and that still holds true! Cheers for the good times on this journey of bikes!

I totally hear you on that and yes, many riders avoid going all in just as World Cup racers don't practice at their limits. I've been to Rampage many times, I've hung off those cliffs and I've built those lines. A number of those riders are my friends and I know what they put into getting ready for Rampage; Fest is a small portion of that equation. You are right though, in the end it is the rider's call. I only hope they have been given as much autonomy to make that call as what the marketing claims.

I like the idea of stepping away from a completely “invite only” format - & with all due respect to Carson and Kyle, I just wonder how “proving” yourself on what are more or less big groomed motocross style dirt jumps can or will parallel the rocky, steep and massive drops of the Rampage site?

It actually replaced my 2.4 Minion DHF on the front of my bike. Not scientific by any measure but I *feel* like it (Tioga) rolls a little bit faster. I am still running it on my bike and we are scooting along just fine!

I like this angle, but also taking the time to mention our race program, SRAM TLD RACING, has been full support of developing the 'next gen' from when we started the program in 2014, with Luca and Walker, and to present day with Vali Holl and Lucas Cruz. Yeah, small program, but, 2 industry brands doing it's part in modeling a jr development program to build the future. Not the 'only' program, but pretty proud of what we are doing. It is a part time project for everyone involved as we all have our 'normal' jobs, but we all LOVE...

As always, loving the storytelling Sven. Thoughts on Loics Kit? Will anyone actually be able to rock the zebra print outside of the Euros/Top 10 WC guys/gals? Sven, any sleepers out there? Any riders we haven't heard of killing it?
