Retro Kona Chute (1999) 3

Kona Chute (circa 1999) Kona Chute with Hope hubs, brakes and QR. 3by drivechain is old school but sooo versatile. Kona Chute - a few issues running Nobby Nic tyres tubeless on those Mavic EX 721s though. Retro Kona DH components in the cockpit Rockshox Revelation (130) suits this frame so well!! Also Hope hubs, brakes and QR

Additional Info My old Kona Chute in its 3rd iteration. Super versatile, nice tight handling but not quite as stable as modern super slack geometry. That retro stem is so looong! Such a pity I cracked the frame eventually through metal fatigue. Still nearly 20 years and plenty of hard riding! Great job Kona!!
