You have 2 kinds of Pike RC. One -like mine- is identical to the Pike RCT3, except that you don't have the 3 positions -the CTD like switch- and another one with a different compression adjustment. Everything else is identical -air sprung cartridge, Charger Damper, same number of clicks on the compression and rebound. If want to block the fork I turn the compression switch. If I want my setting back, I just have to go the other way around. I do have to count the number of clicks, it's less user friendly but I had a RCT3 before and I wasn't using the 3 positions so ...

Nah, no DVO bro. I don't want to turn my bike into a lemon. If I replace the Pike it will be with a BOS deville, but sending the Pike to Novyparts for tuning will be more than enough for me.

I use the XX1 cassette because of the gear ratio. And the XX1 chain because it shifts better with a NW chainring and a XX1 cassette. We've always matched the chain and cassette at work for the same reason -the bikes we sell are $ 10k worth.

The rest is Shimano because it works. I don't like to do warranties for other people. So when it comes to my bike ... No way I'll use Sram.

Didn't realise they made a decent rc version! Makes perfect sense now!

Also, go BOS, you'll never look back. They just get better the roudier it gets.

If I replace the fork I'll have to replace the rear shock to match the front haha. I owned a BOS, great product! But the Pike is quite good. With the help of some tokens I'm pumped by the way it performs.
